Special Ops for when we re-open
Jason Anzaldua
Jae Fitness Members,
Like many of you who have reached out to us, we too are anxious to get back in the club. We are still awaiting Governor Abbott‘ s executive order addressing the opening of gyms due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We are anticipating him addressing this on April 27th. In the meantime, we are making plans on what that may look like. ***Update 4-27-2020***. The governor’s executive order has been extended by another two weeks. We are ready to get going and the facility is primed for your return.
REMINDER – these are not set in stone or permanent, but are options that we are preparing for: ·
Initial Opening – limited workout times and open hours to start. 24/7 may not be an option at the beginning. ·
Limits on the number of people in the club at one time – in compliance with CDC recommendations, keeping both members and staff safe. ·
JF members can book through the calendar link on our website or the mobile app scheduler that will allow members to sign up for workout times. This schedule is not yet set, but will be available once guidelines are established. ·
Any type of scheduled session would limit workouts to 60 minutes max per person. This is a temporary measure to keep within specific health and risk guidelines. Better than being closed, and helps with your scheduling. ·
Cleaning equipment – staff will continue working on keeping the club clean with cleanings 2 times a day, but ultimately it is up to our members to practice Good Gym Etiquette and wipe down your equipment after any use. At the beginning, we will have it staffed to evaluate and ensure proper measures are being complied with. ·
Masks – members may be required to wear masks while working out. We ALL know that COVID-19 is passed through droplets – in your breath and especially when breathing heavy you are certainly sharing those droplets with those around you. ·
Alternate days for certain equipment – we realize that staying 6 ft. apart is difficult in a facility the size of Jae Fitness, so blocking off alternating pieces of equipment may be a solution to that. ·
Hand sanitizing stations are available in the front and back of the gym. We will continue to adapt the best way to keep our staff and members safe, providing the clean/safe environment that we all want.
We hope that you’ve had the chance to take advantage of the live classes and re-recorded options on our website. As we hear discussions and get closer to a current understanding of what will be required on the government level, we will get the info out and keep you in the loop.
THANK YOU to our members who have reached out giving us that moral support, it is always welcomed and appreciated. We are eternally grateful for your continued support of our gym. Covid-19 Dues options
Best in Health,
Jae Fitness
